Defining your unique story can be your best ever marketing decision

For many, business marketing is just a matter of finding a catchy message and starting working with it on different social media platforms. Many of these messages talk about what the business does, how amazing it is, or how it offers the best price, however, none of these strategies are appealing enough in the long run.

For certain types of products, price matters, but we always run the risk of someone else coming and disrupting our business with a cheaper price, more amazingness or a better description of the product/service. So then what? The answer is find your unique story. Your unique story defines why you are in business, what you bring, who you are, and most of all why you are unique, why your customers love you and why you are great at what you do.

When you find a unique way of providing a service, when you are truly acting on your values, when you find an area in which you are just great, then there is no competition. People can do what you do, but they will never be able to do it the way you do it.

When you understand how much your clients value working with you, and how important this is for them, you are starting to define your unique story. Finding out what value you bring to your clients beyond providing a service /product in exchange for a price, can be your best marketing decision ever.

This is the difference between knowing your market niche, what your customers love and selling confidently, and fighting every day to stand out in a crowded market in which you need to explain to every single client why you are better than your competitors.

Where are you standing right now with your story? Explaining your value or your price?
